I will let ya know if it works.
Hi Dick,
Please let us know if it works because the Vicodins are starting to not cut
it anymore. I also have the PA and fibro.

Dear Dick, I asked my doctor about that drug too and they told me it was
just like Effexor. Since Im currently on Effexor, I figured it wouldnt
help me and Id have to go through all the hassle of switching drugs. Are
you taking any anti-depressants now? If not, I think youll find they
really do help fibro and a lot of other pain syndromes. Be sure and let us
know if it helps. I hope your back pain has improved by now. I dont know
if you read about the the perfect chair Im getting for my back? Ill let
you know if it really makes as much difference as I hope it does for me.
Take care and I hope your pain lets up soon. Love, Fran

Went and saw the doc yesterday and was given a new medication to
take to hopefully help with the added pain of having fibromyalgia
along with my PA. In the last 9 months the pain has continued to
increase and so has the number of hydrocodones I take each day to
get some relief from the ongoing pain. I also take Mobic and
Ultracet along with the Enbrel and MTX.
In talking with the family doctor (internal med) he started taking
about a new depression medication called "Cymbalta". The FDA just
approved it for treatment of pain in fibromyalgia patients. I guess
it has to do with controlling the pain signals the nerves send to
    the brain.
It is another medication to take but if it relieves the pain that is
coming from between the joints, it will be worth taking. He gave me
a months sample to try and if it seems to be working he will give me
    a prescription for it.
I will let ya know if it works.

    Hi
I was put on Effexor last November for menopausal symptoms (hot flashes and
    night sweats).
I wonder if this is why I have less pain in my body. I will have to ask
    rheumatologist next month.
